DIY Felt Hair Bow

Bows are perfect when you want to add a cute little detail to any outfit. You can wear them on a half tail, on a bun, on the side of your hair, just about anyway! Just get creative, and you are sure to get adorable results! Fortunately, they are also super easy to make too!

 1. Two strips of felt. One for your bow (the larger one) and one for the middle of the bow (the skinnier one). // 2. Small barrette // 3. Scissors // 4. Glue gun
 1. Grab the larger strip of felt and fold both sides. Make sure that both sides are even. Then use your glue gun to add a drop or two on each side of the bow. // 2. Once the glue is dry, clinch the bow in the middle. If one of the sides comes apart, add a little bit more glue, and then clinch it again. // 3. Now you can grab the skinnier felt piece and wrap it around the middle of the bow where you clinched it. Use as much of the skinny piece as you think works. I only went around the bow with it twice. // 4. Then you cut the skinny piece and add a drop of super glue. // 5. Now you can glue on your small barrette. // 6. You’re finished!

Theses bows are so easy and fast to make! You could even surprise a friend with a little handmade gift!

Happy crafting!

Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday too.

I don’t know why, but I have “Friday I’m In Love” by The Cure stuck in my head. I must want it to be Friday really bad. Either way, today is not Friday. It is Tuesday and I am loving it! So Tuesday I’m In Love it is!

Today I got a very early start to my day. I woke up at 5:00 A.M. I think I’ve mentioned on another post how much I love waking up really early. It puts me in a better mood when I wake up early. So I woke up, made a few bows, and cleaned a bit. Got all spiffy. Then I had a little coffee date in the kitchen with my mom. She’s the best coffee date and the best coffee maker as well. Then errands, errands, errands.

The rest of my day will consist of pure relaxation and preparation for an Interview I have tomorrow. Wish me luck, loves! I have been on the job hunt since May when I graduated. Lets hope something comes up! I also thought I would mention how nice it feels to update my blog more often. I love seeing all of your ladies’ posts! You all inspire me so much! I hope I can do the same for some of you too!

Welcome, Monday!

Monday, we meet again! Well I welcome this new week with open arms. Time to make some new memories, accomplish goals, and make some new goals for myself. For some reason I have a really good feeling about this week! I’m going to make it as productive as possible. Time is precious, and so is life! There is so much beauty around us and so much to be thankful for!

Today I started my day bright and early. I never thought I was much of a morning person, but it seems like I am becoming one! The earlier I wake up, the happier I am. I just feel like I get more out of my day when I start earlier. I even did my hair this morning! Sometimes I get so lazy so I just go with a braid or a bun. I just hate blow drying it! It takes so long! I don’t think I want to cut it though. I like having long hair even if it can get hard to handle sometimes. The only thing I ever have an urge to cut is my bangs. Sometimes I just want some full-blown Audrey Hepburn bangs, but they just don’t fit me! Side-swept is the way to go for me.

Shoes: Chinese Laundry

Today I wore one of the Charlotte Russe tops I got the other day. I don’t own much pink, but I think I need to balance out the colors in my closet. I have lots of black, white, blue, and yellow. So this was a good addition to my closet! 🙂

Hope you all have a marvelous Monday! ❤
